I love this work 🔥🔥 Do they leave the material on the root ball when they plant the trees? What type of material is it? It's it easy for roots to grow through without getting cut by the material? Thank you for your time.

Almost don't have words to express how much I'm feeling and learning with this incredible video. To hear mr Kumagai's wisdom and sensitivity is a real landscaping masterclass. Also my thanks to mr. Taniyama and his beautiful work as a niwashi, to mr Miyake's stone work and of course for you Matsunaga, your videos are getting better and better. I really enjoy and learn more and more with them.

It’s amazing how the careful placement of the stones transform the space. It begins as something very man-made and artificial and then transforms into a beautiful space you can imagine stumbling upon in the wild. The same stones piled in a haphazard heap would just not convey the same grounded feeling.

I'm traveling over 200 hundred miles next week just to pick up a large narrow standing stone for my Wabi sabi Garden that i'm almost halfway completed with. I'm into my second year now building a 50 foot wide by 65 foot long Courtyard with two small ponds and a wonderful waterfall. Stones are very difficult to find here with good character and textures.

Wonderful explanation of the head and core principles on the placement of the rocks. This then be easily adapted for use in a small garden and achieve the same stunning results. I suppose the ultimate form of the art is to make it look all natural as if nothing has been done. Wu Wei according to Lao Tsu.🙏🏻🪨
